Clinical Director, Occupational Therapist
Katie is an occupational therapist and clinical director of Horizons Therapy Services in Dundalk. She founded Horizons Therapy Services with Marguerite in 2018, and together they work to develop the practice to ensure we are providing the best possible and most up to date service for the people who come see us.
Sarah Barry, BHSc (Hons.) OT.
Clinical Director, Occupational Therapist
Sarah is from Dundalk and joined the Horizons team in March 2024. Sarah gained her BHSc (Hons.) degree in occupational therapy from York St. John University in 2008. Sarah is a member of the Association of Occupational Therapists of Ireland and registered as a practicing occupational therapist with both CORU and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) of the United Kingdom. She has experience working in paediatrics both in private occupational therapy clinics in the Republic of Ireland and public health services in Northern Ireland.
Marguerite Lambe BSc. (Hons)
Practice Manager
Marguerite is from Dundalk and is practice manager and co-owner of Horizons Therapy Services Ltd. She has worked as office manager in the clinic since 2009. She has a varied career previously working in Science /Engineering for 28 years.
Laura McKeown
Receptionist and Administrative Assistant
A native of Dundalk, Laura joined Horizons Therapy Services in January 2023 as a Receptionist and Administrative Assistant.
Kate Handy BSc. OT.
Occupational Therapist
Kate joined the Horizons Team in January 2025. Kate completed her BSc Occupational Therapy Degree in 2023, qualifying from the University of Southhampton. Kate is CORU registered and a member of the AOTI.
Since qualifying as an Occupational Therapist she has worked in a variety of settings including special educational needs schools and community rehabilitation.
Lauren Byrne BHSc (Hons.) O.T.
Occupational Therapist
Lauren gained her BHSc (Hons.) degree in Occupational Therapy from University of Huddersfield in 2022. She is passionate about working collaboratively with children and families to help them to achieve their personal goals and to empower children to engage in daily activities in ways that feel safe, authentic, and enjoyable.
Lauren is registered as an Occupational Therapist with CORU and is a member of the Association of Occupational Therapists of Ireland. Lauren has worked as an Occupational Therapist in both Northern Ireland and England prior to joining the Horizons Team in June 2025.
