Kate Handy BSc. OT.

Occupational Therapist

Kate joined the Horizons Team in January 2025. Kate completed her BSc Occupational Therapy Degree in 2023, qualifying from the University of Southhampton. Kate is CORU registered and a member of the AOTI.

Since qualifying as an Occupational Therapist she has worked in a variety of settings including special educational needs schools and community rehabilitation.

Prior to Kate undertaking her university degree, she worked as a Paediatric Occupational Therapy Assistant. During this time she worked in a variety of settings including schools, clinics and home environments. She enjoyed these settings as it allowed her to positively contribute to an individual's quality of life and assist in providing support to their families.

Kate is excited to continue her career in paediatrics, and she is looking forward to working with a variety of clients to achieve their goals.
