Sarah specialises in sensory processing and has attained Certification in Sensory Integration (#3351) from the University of Southern California (USC) and Western Psychological Services (WPS) in St. Louis, Missouri in 2010.Sarah is also qualified to carry out assessments as part of a multi-disciplinary team to identify if a person is Autistic, having completed this training in 2019.
During her time working as an advanced practitioner occupational therapist in Northern Ireland, Sarah worked in special schools, paediatric clinics and in the wider community to provide wheelchairs, housing adaptations, specialist seating and other equipment to those with complex physical and neurological presentations. Sarah loves being part of a team and having the opportunity to work with children and their families to provide a client centred, neuro-affirmative assessment and occupational therapy with Horizons Therapy Services.
